Premier Wills & Trusts provide services for clients living in Staffordshire, Cheshire, Shropshire and Leicestershire. We Pride ourselves on the quality of service we provide to all clients which is very friendly and caring. We are able to visit clients in the comfort of their home, or place of work, at a convenient time to suit. Our visiting hours are totally flexible but are normally from 8:00am to 10:00pm Monday to Friday. We are also able to visit anytime during a weekend for people who find it difficult to arrange an appointment during the week

Free Consultation
Although we offer a Free none obligation Consultation all that we would ask, is that in return for the valuable information that you receive during your consultation, you allow us prepare your Will(s)

A legal document giving instructions as to who gets what on death the death of the testator/ testatrix

Mirror Wills
Two legal documents having the same outcome. (Husband leaves to Wife. Wife leaves to husband. Both leave to children) on the death of the testator/ testatrix

Living Will
For some people, the idea of being kept alive with no quality of life is an unwelcome prospect. If you are over 18, no one is allowed to make decisions about medical treatment for you, (although your doctor may consult your family, he/she is under no obligation to follow their wishes) and if you are unable to communicate you may receive treatment which you would consider inappropriate. A living Will informs your doctors that in these circumstances you wish any suffering to be controlled and that you are not to be subjected to any medical intervention aims at prolonging your life. The British Medical Association approves the form.

Disabled Trust Will
This Will trust and related clauses allows clients to create a Will which benefits a disabled person but in such a way that the disabled person has no absolute right to income or capital.

Lifetime Will Storage
This service gives clients the confidence of knowing that their Wills are being professionally looked after and copies of their Wills along with certificates of deposit are sent out to the clients. For an additional ten pounds each year the clients’ Wills can be updated free of charge.

Property Protective Trust
Are you worried about the effect the community care act could have on your property? We all read too frequently of how people have sold their homes to pay for long term care in later life, which in many cases has taken the biggest asset the majority of us, will ever have. Children are also disheartened when everything their parents have worked for during a whole lifetime is wiped out in just a few years of Long Term Care.

The Protective Trust is designed to protect the value of the share of the deceased partner in the property from being used to pay the care bills of the surviving partners if they require permanent residential care and will also prevent the deceased partner’s share in being inherited by a second husband or wife.

Inheritance Tax Saving
The Discretionary Will trust gives added flexibility, and is useful for a married couple who want to make maximum use of the nil- rate band currently £300,000 (2007/2008) By gifting an amount up to the nil- rate band at death to the children, a substantial tax saving could be made. If both nil rate bands were fully utilised and based on the figure above, there would be a tax saving of £120,000.

A Guaranteed Funeral Plan ensures that the Funeral Director’s services will be paid for and your client’s wishes will be carried out exactly as they would have wished. The plan guarantees that there will never be any extra cost for these services, however far into the future they may be required.
